They found a lot of creative ways to treat the premise of a preposterous-mad-science-experiment-gone-wrong (you don't expect to watch a Frankenstein movie about, for example, a man's revenge against the people that drove her lover to suicide). <br /><br />I also find interesting the fact that the appeal in these movies is that they combine the "so bad that it's good" with the "so good that it's great" in a way that it feels that it all belongs together beacuse of the seriousness with which the material is treated. <br /><br />P.S.
